Kelbrook Pubs & ClubsCraven Heifer Hotel400 Colne Road, Kelbrook A common name for pubs around here, the Craven Heifer, a former farm house over 100 years old, gets its name from a famous young calf (heifer) born in 1807 at nearby Gargrave. I weighed over 1 ton! In the days before the UK used a unified currency, the Craven Bank issued a bank note which pictured said heifer. As you can imagine, there was a great uproar in the area when our currency lost the picture.
