About Us
Pendle Hippodrome Youth Theatre is part of Pendle Hippodrome Theatre Ltd, based at Newmarket Street, Colne. The Youth Theatre is open to all persons over the age of 10 and meets every Sunday morning at 10.30 - 12.30. Formed 10 years ago the aim of the Youth Theatre is to promote all aspects of theatrical activity. This may include Music, Drama, Dance, Stage Performance, Sound, Lighting, Production, Make up, properties, Scenery, Advertising, Promotion and General Administration. Rehearsals are held at the theatre or in the nearby St John Ambulance Hall. The chairman of the Youth Theatre is John Aspden, Secretary Julie Hargreaves, Treasurer Christine Spencer. It is a registered charity and supports Childline as it's nominated charity. Affiliated to the National Operatic & Dramatic Association
